Welcome to my brand spanking new blog.  This is my first attempt at blogging and I am looking forward to passing on news, sharing stories, talking about portrait sessions or anything that we experience in the awesome world of photography.

Without any further ado, here we go.  My first blog is going to be about a portrait session I had just a few days ago.  It took place on Sullivans Island.  I was originally booked for a family photograph that consisted of 4 adults and 1 child, Taylor.  As it turns out the portrait session was more about Taylor as she was celebrating her 2nd birthday.

Well, I consider myself a nice guy but to some 2 year olds it may take a bit to warm up to somebody they just met.  Taylor was no different.  When we first met she gave me the once over that let me know she was keeping an eye on me.  After taking care of the group portraits, I then started to work with Taylor individually.  To make a long story short by the end of the portrait session Taylor was completely relaxed, having a blast and posing like she had been doing this all her life, all 2 years of it.  She has a gorgeous smile and is so cute when laughing but can look absolutely beautiful when not smiling as well.  In fact a few of the images she had just a very happy peaceful look on her that I absolutely loved.

This is Taylor.  She was a ton of fun to photograph and I loved the way the images came out.
